Alessandro Masnaghetti talked about our Rosso di Montalcino 2011, which scores 90+ points and stands out as the best Rosso, before most of all the Brunellos tasted, in the latest Enogea issue,.
Here's what Masnaghetti wrote:
The only Rosso di Montalcino [...] which regularly tries something that goes beyond the boundaries of the typology. An attempt that in this 2011 edition takes the form of a wine of rare personality, more fruity than usual and at the same time pleasantly "dripped", prickly, with salty notes, of meat, tobacco, earth and finally ash. Structure of great discretion, elegant and almost suspended, as if waiting for the wine to find a complete and deeper amalgam. Give it a couple of years.
